Good Day Guys,
I need some assistance with DNS, hope someone can help.
I have found that our enterprise DNS reverse lookup zones, still have old DNS servers listed in the DNS Server tab for each zone. We have over a hundred reverse zones and to manually remove these will be a nightmare.
Can someone let me know why these servers aren't being removed at a dc/dns server demote procedure?
Is this caused because DNS scavenging if not turned on for reverse lookup zones?
How can I script the removal from each zone?
Any help will be greatly appreciated
